A U.S. District judge has rejected a motion to dismiss a lawsuit against the Wake County Board of Elections by the Voter Integrity Project NC. The group says the presence of more registered voters on the rolls than age-eligible citizens indicates that the county has not obeyed the National Voter Registration Act’s mandate to keep up-to-date, accurate voter rolls.
