On September 12, 2017, the College Park, Maryland, City Council voted 4-3 in favor of amending their Charter in favor of allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections. There was one problem… their city’s charter requires six votes to amend it.
The jubilation shared by the Left on that night was short-lived and now it’s back to the drawing board for the College Park City Council, which acknowledged the problem on Sept 15.
