Voter Laws and Registration Deadlines

You must:

• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be a resident of Vermont
• Be 18 years of age on or before election day
• Take, or have previously taken, the Voter’s Oath (formerly called the “Freeman’s Oath”)
• No ID required at this time
• Early Voting in Person or by Mail

Registration Deadline: Delivered to the town clerk before 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the day of the election
